About us

Locally Picked is a local directory built to make finding good people easier.

Most of us find a plumber, an accountant or a dog groomer the same way: we ask around, search online, and hope for the best. Locally Picked brings the things that actually help you choose into one place: real prices, credentials we've checked ourselves, honest reviews and a straight way to get in touch.

How we're different

• Every listing is free. We never charge businesses to appear, and we don't take a cut of their work.
• We check credentials. When a business tells us they're Gas Safe registered, ICAEW chartered or DVSA approved, we check the public register before marking it verified.
• You contact businesses directly. Call or email them yourself; we don't sit in the middle.
• Quote requests go to a few, not dozens. Each request goes to a small number of businesses that have chosen to receive them, so you won't be flooded with calls.

Where we are

We're starting in Luton and growing town by town. If you'd like us in your area, get in touch through our contact page.
