Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone using Locally Picked.

Using the directory

Locally Picked helps you find and contact local businesses. We aren't a party to any agreement you make with a business, and we don't guarantee the work of any business listed. Always agree the price and scope of a job in writing before work starts.

Verified credentials

When we mark a credential as verified, it means we checked a public register or the evidence the business gave us on the date shown. Memberships can lapse, so check anything important for yourself.

Reviews

Reviews must be your own honest experience of the business. We don't accept reviews written by the business, its staff or competitors, or reviews offered in exchange for a reward. We check reviews before publishing them and may remove any that break these rules. Businesses can reply publicly to reviews.

Featured listings

Some listings may be labelled "Featured" as part of a paid plan. Featured listings appear first in results and are always clearly labelled.

Businesses

Listing on Locally Picked is free. Businesses are responsible for keeping their information accurate and for having any licences, registrations and insurance they claim. We may edit or remove listings that are inaccurate or that break these terms.
